Who we are
Megan is a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice. Before becoming a counselor, she worked as a middle school teacher and student minister. Her own journey through unexpected life transitions, loss, and divorce deepened her dependence on Christ and shaped her heart for women walking through difficult seasons.
Megan desires for every woman to know that hardship does not have the final word. Even when life looks very different than we hoped or planned, there is still hope, healing, and purpose in Christ. Through her own story, she has experienced God’s faithfulness to meet us in the broken places, bring beauty from ashes, and establish our feet on solid ground. She is passionate about encouraging women to keep their eyes fixed on Christ and trust that He is still at work, even in the hardest chapters of their stories.
Megan delaRosa: Co-Founder
Alannah is married and the mother of two adult girls. She is passionate about seeing women come to know Christ in a real and personal way. Alannah has led Bible studies for women since college, and she longs to help women become warriors for Christ no matter what stage of life they are in. Alannah and her brother founded and managed Char-Griller, a grill company, and recently sold it giving her more time to put energy into helping women experience the power of Jesus Christ.
ALANNAH O’QUINN: Co-Founder
Alannah and Megan met while leading a weekly Bible study for young girls at the Gathering Place. They discovered that they worked well together and that both had a heart for ministry; out of this shared spirit, Beloved was founded. Alongside their work with single moms, Alannah and Megan remain strong advocates of the importance of ministering to children.
Jennifer was born and raised in the Golden Isles and is married with two adult daughters. Her walk with Christ began in high school through the Gathering Place, and she has since served in a variety of ministries. She served on the board of Skylark, a local Christian ministry that provides hope and support to women and families facing unplanned pregnancies. Jennifer also helps plan the Inspire Christian Women’s Conference and has led a small group at Beloved since 2016. She has a heart for encouraging women and walking alongside them as they grow in their faith.
